Holden Culotta

Holden Culotta is an undergraduate student at the University of Vermont studying political science and a host of live X (formerly known as Twitter) Spaces discussing independent politics, third parties, the second space race and more.
He was born in California in July 2001 and grew up in a coastal Connecticut town.
As a young boy, Holden was an avid fencer who spent years traveling the country to train and compete in tournaments. He spent his free time reading about history and space, watching classic movies, and playing video games from Mario Kart to Dark Souls.
His favorite movies include Blade Runner, Interstellar, and 2001: A Space Odyssey.
His first entry into the political scene came during the 2020 presidential election when he traveled to Iowa and New Hampshire to canvass for Andrew Yang’s presidential campaign.
After the 2020 election, Holden spent nearly two years as an active member of the Forward Party (founded in fall 2021 by Andrew Yang) before he became an independent in fall 2023 to focus on writing.
He originally launched Union Forward in July 2022.
